University of Illinois Urbana-ChampaignUrbana, IL
B.S. Computer Science · GPA 3.82
Aug 2025 to May 2028 (expected)
- Coursework: Data Structures, Discrete Structures, Linear Algebra, Numerical Methods, Probability & Statistics
Experience
Founder & Lead Developer · Omni: The Universal Coding PlatformJun to Aug 2024
- Block-based Python platform: a Tkinter platform that lets beginners learn Python logic before syntax in their own language, localized into 133+ languages. Designed and built end to end as founder and sole developer.
- Localization architecture: built blocks for math symbols, operators and string manipulation. Translated every block label and keyword through the Google Translate API on the front end while the backend keeps the original Python syntax.
- Recognition: first to support programming in Zulu, Thai, Telugu, Nepali, Sinhala, Icelandic and Samoan. CREST Gold from the British Science Association. 2nd place at the Techolympus.ai national hackathon.
AI Intern · NagarroMay to Jul 2025
- AQI prediction app: independent internship under Aman Kesarwani (DevOps Engineer) building an app that predicts AQI from forecasts.
- Model development: trained a RandomForestClassifier on humidity, pressure, temperature and wind speed, reaching 91% accuracy.
Founder & Developer · BiblioReadsJan 2022 to Aug 2025
- Rotational library: a rotating library for underfunded government schools and nonprofits in which each school's monthly batch of books moves on to the next school.
- Library management system: PHP/MySQL app with a Hindi/English UI for ISBN-keyed issue and return, per-student issue records and monthly per-school logs. Sourced books monthly from Daryaganj and held weekly feedback sessions for 3 years.
- Impact: partnered with Bindi, an international nonprofit, to reach 11 schools and NGOs (5 in Gurgaon, 6 in rural Rajasthan). Procured 1,000+ books, raised INR 42,000 (~$500) on Milaap, reached 1,000+ students.
Research
Research Collaborator · EleutherAI, Summer of Open AI Research (SOAR)Jun 2026 to now
- Agent rule-breaking study: collaborating on research into why LLM agents violate embedded rules, testing twelve instruction-tuned models as enterprise procurement bots against deterrence, legitimacy and expressive-law predictions from compliance theory.
- Experiments & pipeline: experiments crossing rule framing with four fine levels, manager authority, peer signals, nine employee-pressure tactics and multi-turn pushback, with an LLM-as-judge pipeline classifying violations as hedge, acknowledge or silent.
- Findings & extension: models split into safety-tuned and task-optimized groups, stating a fine lowers compliance, urgency drops every model to 9% or below, and 94.5% of 6,743 violations cite the rule. Now training activation probes to catch the silent ones.
Student Researcher · Wolfram High School Summer Research ProgramJun to Jul 2024
- Error-correcting codes: researched channel and error-correcting codes under Prof. Lyman Hurd, from block and convolutional codes up to Turbo codes.
- Implementation: analyzed the Shannon limit, Hamming distance and generator matrices, then built Wolfram Language encoders and decoders for Hamming, Hadamard, Reed-Muller and convolutional codes.
- Publication: computational essay "Implementing Error-Correction Codes: From the Beginning to the Present", 6,400+ views.
